Criminal/DUI Results:

  • May 2010: Client charged with DUI, Open Container and Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Blew over .20, with per se intoxication level of .02. Open Container and Minor in Possession cases dismissed outright with record sealed. DUI case record sealed. No driver’s license suspension.
  • April 2010: Client offered 20 years in prison on Attempted Murder charge following high speed chase. Case taken to trial. Post-trial, State offer dropped to 3 years with credit for 18 months already served.
  • March 2010: Client charged with 2nd DUI within last 18 months. Cased dismissed upon plea negotiations and completion of pretrial alcohol classes. One year driver’s license suspension reduced to one month.
  • February 2010: Client charged with DUI and improper lane usage. Both cases dismissed outright upon plea negotiations.
  • January 2010: Client charged with trafficking cocaine; adamantly maintained innocence throughout criminal proceedings. Upon obtaining toxicology report revealing no illegal substance, case dismissed outright.
  • July 2009: Client charged with DUI and Possession of Marijuana following late night traffic stop. DUI and Possession cases dismissed through plea negotiations whereby client plead guilty to Improper Lane Usage. License never suspended.
  • July 2009: Client charged with DUI following early morning arrest following citizen phone call to police on possible burglary. DUI dismissed upon defense motion due to lack of evidence to support DUI charge. License never suspended.
  • July 2009: Client charged with 2nd DUI in 5 years following traffic stop pursuant to failure to maintain lane. Client admitted to pretrial diversion program and DUI dismissed. License never suspended.
  • May 2009: Client charged with DUI after running over citizen mailbox and blowing .11. Client admitted to pretrial diversion program through negotiations with prosecutor and DUI dismissed upon payment of restitution to citizen. License never suspended.
  • May 2009: Client charged with DUI after improper traffic stop and blowing .14. Client admitted to pretrial diversion program through negotiations with prosecutor and DUI charge dismissed. License suspension time reduced.
  • April 2009: Client charged with DUI after routine traffic stop. Client admitted to pretrial diversion program through negotiations with prosecutor and DUI dismissed. License suspension time reduced.
  • Client charged with Burglary 2nd Degree (Felony). Facing 2-20 years in prison. Case Dismissed
  • Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle and Unlawful Possession Of a Controlled Substance (Felony). Facing 1-10 years in prison. Case Dismissed
  • 2nd time DUI treated as first time offense with no jail time after negotiations with DA; client asleep at wheel, and BAC well over twice the legal limit
  • Theft of a motor vehicle (Felony). Facing 2-20 years in prison. Misdemeanor plea and no jail time
  • Theft of Property II (Felony). Facing 1-10 years in prison. Misdemeanor plea and significantly reduced restitution. No jail time
  • Felony Theft of Property reduced to misdemeanor in spite of written confession by client
  • Domestic Violence reduced to simple Harassment. Client's right to carry a firearm preserved
  • DUI, Open Container, client's BAC .18. Deferred prosecution. Case dismissed
  • Felony Possession of Controlled Substance placed in deferred prosecution for all charges to be dropped
  • Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Open Container; placed on deferred prosecution docket for all charges to be dropped

Civil Results:

  • Subcontractor not paid by general contractor under terms of subcontract; all monies secured to pay client's sub-subcontractors and favorable confidential settlement reached to eliminate client exposure to counterclaims
  • Client attempted settlement for property damage on their own, Home Owners' Insurance company denied claim, L&P involved and successful settlement reached
  • Client injured by breathing in toxic chemicals at workplace, L&P involved and confidential settlement reached
  • Client attempted settlement on their own and were offered well less than the total value of their vehicle; over 35% increased settlement reached after L&P involvement in case
